Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST, flexibility based on customer demands

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Customer Account Coordinator to join our team in Owosso, MI. In this role, you'll serve as the main point of contact between our customers, internal teams, and the sales organization. You own the order process from start to finish with precision and urgency. A strong candidate will bring a high degree of accuracy and accountability, as this position involves significant order entry and item setup responsibilities, light accounting work, and constant cross-functional communication. Success in this role requires the ability to pivot quickly, manage competing priorities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* 2+ years of customer service or operational experience in a fast-paced environment such as corrugated manufacturing (plant or supporting roles), distribution, supply chain, logistics, commercial operations, or manufacturing customer service.

* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities with flexibility and calm under pressure

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments and with customers

* Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially in managing data and account accuracy

What Will Put You Ahead

* Comfortable using all Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheet organization)

* Familiarity with ERP systems such as Kiwi, Kiwi FFF, or PCS

* Previous experience managing customer accounts and collaborating with sales, shipping, or production

* Inventory management experience

* Background in corrugated packaging, paper manufacturing, or a related industrial B2B environment

What You Will Do

* Manage customer accounts like it's your own business through proactive communication by phone and email as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure our customers are highly satisfied

* Create and maintain spreadsheets to track inventory, order status, and other customer and production related data

* Manage inventories for effective production review and planning

* Enter orders, cancellations, and changes for multiple customer accounts with accuracy and focus on customer needs and requirements

* Coordinate shipments of products with the shipping department

* Coordinate with Quality Assurance to follow up on customer feedback and identify a root cause to offer solutions to customers

* Partner with the Commercial team to ensure GP is the preferred partner in the market for our customers

* Periodic customer visits to conduct business reviews or onboarding activities

* Create new items and manage new items through the production process

* Assist with accounts payable/receivable duties as needed

* Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) daily
