You've come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will partner with practice leadership to shape and execute the client activation agenda, connecting priority client themes with the firm's distinctive capabilities and expertise.
You will identify and amplify client priorities by analyzing the market landscape, surfacing client needs, and synthesizing feedback from client wins and losses. You will translate these insights into client development opportunities and priority campaigns, working closely with practices, service lines, and regional teams.
You will leverage firm resources to understand executive priorities and partner with Reach & Engagement (R&E) and the Client Activation Personalization team to design targeted engagement with priority executives, including webinars, McKinsey-hosted events, and industry forums.
You will partner with the competitive intelligence team to identify market shifts, sharpen our differentiators, and translate competitive insights into client activation priorities. You will bring the firm's most relevant client development platforms, experts, and capabilities to priority interactions. You will also support the practice's modernization agenda by promoting adoption of GenAI tools and ways of working within CSTs.
You will execute the client activation plan in partnership with client development colleagues and cross-functional teams, driving measurable outcomes.
You will help build and connect the NA Electric Power and Natural Gas (EPNG) and NA Global Energy & Materials (GEM) communities, serving as a key convener across practices, service lines, regions, and functions.
You will shape leadership agendas, facilitate regional forums, and drive follow-through on agreed priorities to advance NA EPNG and GEM objectives.
Your work will help drive sustainable client impact across the EPNG sector and broader GEM in the region, while supporting the growth and connectivity of the regional community or practitioners.
You'll be part of our GEM team in one of our approved locations in North America. GEM is the firm's largest industry sector, bringing together six industry practices spanning energy, materials, and industrial value chains.
The EPNG Practice in North America is one of GEM's largest and fastest-growing areas, with strong momentum across a diversified base of programmatic clients. Its success is grounded in deep sector insights, distinctive client service, and a strong focus on client experience.
As we continue to grow, our priorities include winning in AI and Capital Excellence, deepening service line and CST engagement, expanding into whitespace opportunities, and strengthening priority client relationships. To support these goals, we are embedding AI into CST ways of working, expanding our leadership bench, and fostering a more connected EPNG community.
You'll be a core member of the GEM client activation team and broader GEM practice team, reporting into the Director of Client Activation - EPNG, while also working closely with the Leader of Client Activation - GEM.
You will work closely with North America EPNG and GEM leadership, especially regional industry and service line leaders.
You will also work closely with our client capabilities team, and across functions (e.g., Finance, PD, and Communications teams). You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
