Environmental Engineering/Geology Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, Michigan
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

As part of our GeoSciences and Remediation team, you will gain hands-on field and office experience. Your work setting will include in the field, collecting environmental-related samples and overseeing drilling, and in the office, assisting with environmental data analysis and report development.
What You'll Do
- Collect groundwater, surface water, soil, and vapor samples in diverse field settings throughout Michigan.
- Analyze data collected in the field to support project decisions.
- Assist in drafting a variety of environmental reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and geologists on consulting projects.
- Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather real-world experience.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related program.
- Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for environmental work.
- Comfortable working independently and asking thoughtful questions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Previous field or lab experience is a plus.
