Senior Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in safety regulations and management, particularly in the context of transitioning facilities from construction to operational phases.

• Develop and implement safety procedures for a new facility.
• Engage with the operating team to ensure a safe startup process.
• Conduct training sessions, approximately 10% of the time.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety, fire protection, and OSHA laws.
• Apply full knowledge of fire protection standards and hazardous material/chemical management and transportation.
• Utilize industrial hygiene sampling and surveying techniques.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with strong public speaking and presentation skills.

• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience, ideally related to liquified natural gas operations and/or power station operations.
• Full knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and standards.
• Considerable related experience in safety management.
• High School Diploma required.

• Location: Greensville/Client Storage.
• Position Type: Local.
• Overtime: Required.
• Per Diem Eligibility: Yes.
• This is not a construction-related role, but involves developing safety procedures for the operational phase.
• The candidate may possibly drive a vehicle on behalf of the company.
