Airgas is continually elevating its digital presence and customer engagement by optimizing our Content Operating Model across all commercial and marketing touchpoints. The Creative QA Specialist serves as an essential staging gatekeeper within the creative and publishing workflow, ensuring the accuracy, visual integrity, and cross-system stability of all digital content deliverables before they reach production. By handling rigorous line-item checks and validating complex cross-system data flows, the Creative QA Specialist enforces operational governance across handovers while freeing strategic creative, merchandising, and product leads to focus on site growth and revenue drivers.

Staging Gatekeeping & Visual QA
  • Staging Gatekeeper: Serve as an essential staging gatekeeper, catching visual defects, layout breaks, and text clipping before pages go to production.

  • Design & Brand Alignment: Review visual layouts, graphics, and video/digital creative assets to ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and project specifications.

  • Display & Device Verification: Inspect digital assets across platforms, screen sizes, and mobile devices to verify proper display, responsive formatting, and digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Operational Governance & Compliance
  • Handover Governance: Enforce operational governance across team handovers, verifying that legal, regulatory, brand, and taxonomy standards are satisfied before deployment.

  • Governance & Style Documentation: Maintain, update, and advocate for brand style guides, quality checklists, and editorial SOPs to support the broader Content Operating Model.

  • Editorial & Fact Validation: Proofread copy for grammar/tone and fact-check product claims, promotional details, technical specifications, and corporate messaging across all content pieces to guarantee absolute accuracy.

Content Workflow & Quality Operations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and campaign managers to resolve inconsistencies promptly and meet tight delivery schedules.

  • Front-End Page Health: Secures ongoing presentation health, ensuring high-volume publishing never degrades brand consistency, visual alignment, or customer-facing page layout.

  • Strategic Enablement: Frees strategic leads to focus on site growth and revenue drivers rather than manual publishing maintenance by handling line-item checks.
