- Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety, and
reliability of the Linde Technology Campus (LTC) facility in Tonawanda, NY. This role leads Building Services personnel, oversees Facilities Maintenance and Shipping & Receiving personnel, manages third-party service providers, and supports facility maintenance, capital improvements, and long-term facilities planning to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace. - Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility, equipment, and vehicle reliability and operational efficiency.
Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring quality performance, safety compliance, and adherence to contractual requirements. - Support capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, workplace modifications, and long-range facilities planning.
- Manage facility-related budgets, inventories, purchasing activities, and invoice approvals.
- Ensure facility licenses, inspections, registrations, and regulatory compliance requirements are maintained.
- Partner with site leadership to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance facility performance and customer service
- Provide support for after-hours facility emergencies and business continuity needs as required.
What makes you great
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in facilities, building operations, maintenance, or related environments, including supervisory responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-skilled teams and managing contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance practices, building systems, preventive maintenance programs, and applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Experience supporting facility projects, capital improvements, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
