What You'll Do
- Leverage large-scale manufacturing data systems to extract key improvement insights and facilitate engineering investigations
- Develop robust and scalable algorithms/ predictive models to improve manufacturing process and quality control capabilities
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Controls Engineers to seamlessly integrate models, algorithms, and LLM-based workflows into production processes
- Develop and experiment with data acquisition and processing workflows to extract, clean, and store manufacturing process knowledge from structured and unstructured sources (e.g., logs, work instructions, failure reports) as high-quality context for RAG and LLM applications
- Build self-serve data tools to empower data-driven manufacturing
- Clearly convey analyses and findings for cross-functional stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience with Python and SQL database queries
- Proficiency with large volume data preprocessing and data wrangling
- Strong mathematical/ statistical knowledge relevant to process control and monitoring
- Experience with data warehouse and data lake technologies such as Clickhouse, S3
- Experience with modern machine learning concepts and ML lifecycles
- Proficiency with data visualization techniques and tools using Tableau, R Shiny, Python Dash, Plotly, etc.
- Degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience
