About the Job: Job Title: NPI Process Engineer You will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing teams world-wide through the development of Keysight's new test and measurement products until successful launch into a production environment. As an NPI Process Engineer, you will apply your schooling, knowledge, and skills to a variety of hands-on projects creating new product BOM's (bill of materials), building prototypes, identifying design for manufacturing improvements, developing assembly and manufacturing processes, and training the manufacturing site to enable production of new products! About the Team: The NPI Engineering team is multi-disciplinary, including mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, engineering technicians, and program management. You will be part of a product development team that collaborates closely with cross functional teams to develop our Realtime Oscilloscopes, Probes, Accessories, and other products. Responsibilities In NPI Engineering, we don't engineer new products, we engineer the manufacturing of new products. Working closely with R&D, Marketing, Product Support, and Manufacturing teams in Colorado and Malaysia you may: - Develop new manufacturing processes for new products or land new products into existing manufacturing processes - Create innovative solutions to satisfy marketing requests or system/manufacturing constraints - Define product structure and develop the Manufacturing Bill of Material (BOM) and implement in Oracle - Drive, manage, and execute (hands-on) prototype builds - material staging, assembly, rework - Define assembly processes for new products and create initial product assembly documentation (step by step procedures, flow charts, etc.) - Consult with manufacturing on tooling needs/requirements and best practices, leveraging into future products - Influence product design decisions/tradeoffs which will enable the most efficient use of existing processes - Consult on packaging design - Initiate requests for manufacturing part set up in Enovia - Transfer processes to and train manufacturing sites (typically Malaysia, performing remotely and sometimes travelling) - Consult with Product Support on Service Center part set up and support process - Drive Continuous Process Improvement - Design and implement improvements to products, processes, material, and documentation that will enhance the manufacturability, quality and reliability of current and future products - Lead cross functional teams in DFx reviews for NPIs focusing on process, structure, supply chain and manufacturability Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree - Degree completion within the last 18 months or upcoming completion expected in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 Desired Qualifications: - Experience working in an NPI or Manufacturing environment - Manufacturing product and process understanding with hands on experience with complex, high tech electronic product assemblies - Demonstrates strong organization skills - Enovia 3DExperience engineering change management system - Windows Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams - Confluence Project Collaboration Tool - Adobe Illustrator Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below. We are unable to support visa sponsorship for this position. MIN $71,170 to MAX $118,620 Note:For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program US Employees may be eligible for the following benefits:
