Summary
The Director of Business Technology will define and advance NYPA's strategy for customer-facing technologies, ensuring the organization's digital ecosystem including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power BI reporting platforms, and emerging Customer AI capabilities, effectively support NYPA's long-term business goals. This leader will set the vision for how customer data, digital tools, and analytics enable customer-centricity, operational excellence, and strategic decision making across our Customer portfolio. The Director will oversee NYPA's Customer-Centric Data Management Initiative, driving enterprise data governance, integration, and accessibility through strong partnerships with IT, Customer Energy Solutions, and other business units. This role will proactively shape how customer information is captured, managed, and leveraged, ensuring systems and processes evolve in alignment with organizational priorities. In addition, the Director will champion innovation in digital engagement and customer insights, identifying opportunities to apply advanced analytics and AI to enhance transparency, strengthen relationships, and unlock new value. This leader will guide multi-year technology roadmaps, influence investment decisions, and ensure NYPA's customer technology capabilities remain robust, scalable, and future-ready. #LI-VB1 Responsibilities

Physical Requirements The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $170,000 - $213,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
