The Corporate Revenue Cycle Department is seeking and a dynamic and talented Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst - Analytics.

As a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst, you'll be responsible for assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows; identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements, collaborating with teams (e.g., registration, billing, charging, coding, collections, and denials management) to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow; and analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Senior Revenue Cycle Analysts take initiative and work with limited oversight, including patient account reviews, system maintenance, data analysis, and process improvement activities.

Senior Revenue Cycle Analysts performing Analytics are responsible for reviewing and manipulating raw data and leveraging data analytics to identify and communicate trends and issues, combining revenue cycle expertise with advanced analytics capabilities to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designs and distributes monthly, weekly, and ad hoc reports for both internal and external parties including corporate departments, central billing office leaders, facility leaders, and consultants according to customer specifications.
  • Reviews weekly reports to identify issues affecting the timely resolution of patient collections and communicates trends to end users, including central billing office and facility leaders.
  • Supports efforts and initiatives related to system implementations, process and technology improvement, and standardization.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar.
  • A Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst should have 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • A Senior Analyst should possess an intermediate knowledge of revenue cycle operations, including an understanding of registration, charging, billing, collections, and denials management processes.
  • A candidate should also have experience working in a patient accounting system, using available online tools for claims and EOB review, and reviewing claim bills and remittances in document imaging systems.
  • A highly qualified candidate should also have experience managing projects and vendors, delivering data-driven solutions, supporting process improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5+ years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements.
  • A qualified candidate should have strong professional written and verbal communication skills, proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

Travel Requirements: Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need.
