Inova is looking for a dedicated Patient Access Lead to join the team. This role will be Full-Time 40 hours per week Hybrid

Job Responsibilities

  • Patient Intake, Registration & Documentation: Oversees intake operations, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and leads documentation and registration improvements.
  • Administrative & Technology Operations: Leads process improvements and trains staff on new tools and system updates.
  • Case Management Tasks: Monitors metrics and streamlines case management handoffs.
  • Financial Counseling: Monitors metrics and leads financial improvement initiatives.
  • Insurance & Contract Coordination: Leads accuracy initiatives, monitors trends, and trains staff in insurance and contract coordination.
  • Patient Communication & Advocacy: Leads messaging initiatives, coaches staff, and promotes service equity among patients.
  • Utilization Review Coordination: Coordinates with UR teams to reduce denials.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations
  • May perform additional duties as assigned

Additional Requirements

  • Education - High school or GED
  • Experience - 3 Years of patient access experience
