Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support Hardware Design TPMs in driving engineering design deliverables, managing hardware component delivery, and creating development schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development processes, familiarity with product design and fabrication processes, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support Hardware Design TPMs in coordinating and driving engineering design deliverables, including specifications, DOE, and validation plans.
  • Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines.
  • Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead times, and business needs.
  • Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams and leadership.
  • Communicate program statuses and identify potential setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and design sprints.
  • Manage communication within and between internal cross-functional and external partners.
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Technology Development Program Manager in consumer electronics.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers of hardware components.
  • Experience with ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models.
  • Knowledge of the phase-gate approach to technology development programs.
  • Experience with:

    • Mechanical system development
    • Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
    • Tooling
    • Validation
    • Characterization processes


  • Strong communication and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of program top-issue tracking.
  • Experience operating across multiple teams and programs.
