Sr. Accountant
Reporting to the
Performance Center Controller, this Sr. Accounting position will be responsible
for preparing financial statements and supporting A/R and A/P
transactions. This role has great
potential to grow into the Assistant Controller / Controller role depending on
performance.

Job Summary
- Manage monthly close process including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis, and review of control activities.
- Ensure all financial deadlines are met and deliverables meet expected quality.
- Assist A/R and A/P transactions as backup such as updating invoicing status for revenue recognition and coordinating with Treasury on banking transactions and cash information.
- Manage cost accounting activities including standard cost analysis and rollover, inventory count and reserve analysis, Capex and fixed assets activities recording.
- Assist with annual operating plan (AOP).
- Communicate and bridge between customers, vendors, and the shared service team.
- Ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) internal controls are reviewed, updated, and followed.
- Assist with internal/external audits and respond to inquiries.
- Coordinate accounting matters with business partners as needed.
- Perform other assignments as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ASelf-starter capable of interacting closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to quickly identify and solve accounting related problems.
- Highly organized with attention to detail, flexibility on reprioritizing tasks, adaptability to changes of business environment, ERP systems or operations processes.
- Strong learning aptitude with the ability to quickly absorb new information, concepts, and technologies.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and one or two ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions.
- Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including confidentiality and ethical standards
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred but not required.
- 5 -10 years of experience
in multiple accounting roles. Experience
in manufacturing industry is a plus.
Base Compensation: USD 95,000.00 - 115,000.00
