Now Hiring: Director of Profit and Loss - Counter Threat Portfolio
Location: Lorton, VA
Salary: $225,000 - $275,000 annually + Bonus Eligibility
This direct hire leadership role is responsible for managing a large-scale government services and technology portfolio with full P&L accountability. The Director will oversee program performance, business growth, customer engagement, and financial results while leading multidisciplinary teams supporting counter-threat, defense, security, and intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Own portfolio P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and profitability
* Lead programs supporting counter-UAS, force protection, border security, ISR, and integrated sensor technologies * Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives and capture strategies for federal contracts * Build executive-level relationships with government and defense stakeholders * Ensure successful program delivery, customer satisfaction, and contract compliance * Lead cross-functional teams across program management, engineering, operations, finance, and business development * Drive organizational performance through mentoring, talent development, and succession planning Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Military Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
* 10+ years of leadership experience managing defense, homeland security, or federal government portfolios * Proven success managing a $50M+ portfolio with direct P&L responsibility * Experience supporting U.S. Army, DHS, CENTCOM, or related government agencies * Strong background in government contracting, capture management, and business growth * Knowledge of counter-UAS, force protection, border security, ISR, and advanced sensor systems * Ability to obtain or maintain TS/SCI clearance eligibility Benefits
