Position Summary
The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and leading the organization's supplier quality function. This role will develop supplier performance systems, improve incoming quality, implement supplier accountability programs, and create a supplier recovery process to reduce supplier-generated quality costs. Key Responsibilities * Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems. * Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics. * Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs. * Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). * Establish supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives. * Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification activities. * Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier performance improvement. * Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions. * Improve incoming quality performance and supplier accountability. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field. * 7+ years supplier quality experience. * Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. * Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and supplier management practices. * Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
