GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE

Serves as Loram's working Global Treasurer, combining strategic ownership of enterprise liquidity, capital structure, financing, financial risk, and global banking strategy with direct responsibility for core treasury execution. Acts as the CFO's principal advisor on liquidity, debt capacity, funding alternatives, banking relationships, and treasury-related financial risk. Personally performs and oversees critical daily and period-end treasury activities while leading a small treasury team and partnering across the organization to support growth, capital investment, acquisitions, and international expansion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Treasury Strategy and Capital Structure



  • Develop and execute Loram's global treasury strategy in alignment with business objectives, the long-range plan, capital priorities, and risk tolerance.
  • Advise the CFO on capital structure, liquidity, leverage, debt capacity, financing alternatives, and deployment of cash.
  • Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of credit facilities, amendments, refinancings, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other funding mechanisms.
  • Develop scenario analyses and liquidity stress tests to assess funding needs under changing business and economic conditions.
  • Lead treasury support for acquisitions, strategic investments, and international expansion, including due diligence, funding strategy, and treasury integration.


Core Treasury Operations and Daily Execution



  • Perform and oversee global cash management activities, including daily cash positioning, banking activity, balance reporting, transaction processing, and movement of funds.
  • Prepare and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts; coordinate with Finance and Project Management on project cash flows, capital expenditures, forecasted balance sheets, and consolidated statements of cash flows.
  • Execute, track, and report on letters of credit, trade finance arrangements, credit line requirements, intercompany loans, and other treasury transactions.
  • Lead the treasury month-end close, including review and accurate recording of cash activity to the general ledger, approval and release of electronic disbursements, and reconciliation of company bank accounts.
  • Administer domestic and international bank accounts and online banking platforms, including account openings and closures, signatory maintenance, user access, wire and ACH templates, and related documentation.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for business units and banking partners on cash management, payments, banking platforms, and treasury issue resolution.


Enterprise Liquidity and Financial Risk Management



  • Own enterprise liquidity strategy, consolidated cash visibility, minimum liquidity requirements, cash concentration, intercompany funding, repatriation, and investment of excess cash.
  • Establish and maintain a treasury risk framework covering liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, counterparty, and banking concentration risk.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures; develop, execute, maintain, and report on approved hedging activities.
  • Monitor debt covenants, credit agreements, and liquidity requirements; identify emerging risks and lead corrective actions.


Global Banking Strategy and Treasury Governance



  • Develop and manage Loram's global banking strategy and relationships with domestic and international banking partners.
  • Lead bank selection, service reviews, pricing negotiations, credit discussions, and evaluation of banking products, services, platforms, and structures.
  • Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, delegated authorities, and controls over cash receipts, disbursements, bank accounts, borrowing, investments, and financial risk activities.
  • Identify and implement treasury technology, automation, and process improvements that strengthen cash visibility, efficiency, security, and control.


Strategic Partnership and Executive Support



  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT, Project Management, Business Development, and operating leaders on decisions with treasury, funding, liquidity, or financial risk implications.
  • Advise on legal entity capitalization, intercompany financing, cash repatriation, trade finance, guarantees, and funding structures for global operations.
  • Prepare and present executive reporting on liquidity, debt, financing, banking strategy, treasury performance, and financial risk; support Board and committee reporting as requested.
  • Review significant contracts and initiatives for financing, liquidity, guarantee, foreign exchange, and other treasury implications.


Leadership and Functional Development



  • Provide enterprise leadership for treasury activities across all regions and legal entities, establishing clear accountability and consistent standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of treasury practices, financial markets, regulatory developments, and emerging risks relevant to Loram's global operations.
  • Directly manage and develop assigned treasury staff, currently expected to be one employee, while remaining personally accountable for core treasury work.
  • Set priorities, allocate work, provide technical guidance, and maintain appropriate coverage and segregation of duties within a small treasury team.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources as needed to deliver treasury objectives without building an unnecessarily large organizational structure.
