Department 10420 Grants Contracts FinancePay Range $150,000.00 - $450,000.00The VP of Financial Operations will direct and manage all financial planning activities including long range financial planning, decision support and the development of the annual operating and capital budget process for all CNH entities and all financial activities related to the Children's Research Institute and hospital sponsored programs. The development of the operating and capital budgets will include CNH, HSC, CRI and all applicable subsidiaries. The long-range financial analysis should be developed on an annual basis. Long-range financial analytics may be needed to support the strategic planning process for the organization or its subsidiaries. The VP will be responsible for creating and utilizing financial tools and analytics to measure financial trends to support clinical operations, strategic decisions as well as the growth of the research portfolio. He/ She will provide counsel and advice to the CFO and Executive leadership on fiscal and financial management matters for CNH entities. He/ She will also advise on compliance with federal programs as well as sponsored projects and their management. Critical to success, this person will thrive in a cross-departmental organization, working alongside a dynamic team of executives, clinical and academic leaders, operational and programmatic directors, managers, and staff that value high-quality work and continuous learning. This position will work at both a strategic and operational/tactical level and manage an interdisciplinary team of approximately up to 100 FTE's, including but not limited to an Executive Director, 4 directors and 3 managers as direct reports. The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
