Position Title: Machine Operator

Wage: $17.00-$18.25/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support production and assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, inspecting product quality, maintaining production flow, and ensuring all safety and housekeeping standards are consistently followed. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions provided by supervisors

- Work collaboratively with team members on assembly line and production projects

- Operate production equipment, including glue machines and related machinery

- Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing and assembly process

- Ensure finished products meet company quality standards

- Load machines with materials and monitor production output

- Stack, organize, and prepare finished products for shipping and palletizing

- Use utility knives safely to open boxes, cut cardboard, and prepare materials

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times

- Maximize productivity and efficiency while meeting production goals

- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Machine Operator Requirements:

- Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, maintenance requests, and standard operating procedures

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to identify and solve routine production issues

- Basic math skills, including measurements, quantities, percentages, and counting

- Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers

- Ability to accurately complete required production documentation and daily reporting

- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and reliability

- Ability to frequently lift, carry, move, and rotate corrugated stock and materials weighing up to 50 pounds

- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift

- Ability to work at a fast pace while loading machines and palletizing products from production lines

- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and lifting

- Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift

- Manufacturing and production facility environment

- Exposure to moving machinery and production equipment

- Noise levels may require hearing protection

- Must be able to work safely around equipment and moving materials
