Position Title: Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator
Wage: $20.00-$21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Are you an experienced warehouse equipment operator looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operators with experience operating a Reach Truck, Double Walkie Rider, and Stock Picker in a fast-paced distribution environment! Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Transport materials to and from designated locations using appropriate equipment - Utilize RF scanning equipment to accurately record inventory transactions - Perform manual inventory counts as needed to ensure accuracy - Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections; report damage or issues to Supervisor - Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area - Report RF equipment malfunctions promptly - Unload incoming containers at the distribution center Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Must pass written and practical forklift certification tests - Ability to communicate clearly and respond to questions - Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)- Regularly stand, lift, and reach - Occasionally walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate - Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds - Requires close and distance vision QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
