Technical Writer

Our data intelligence cloud platform client is looking to bring on a remote, Technical Writer to assist with a project:

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing for complex B2B SaaS products and a proven ability to work effectively in agile environments. This role will involve collaborating with product managers, support engineering, and the Data Quality technical writer to create comprehensive and accurate documentation and release notes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product features, functionality, and target audience.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and release notes.
• Ensure that documentation is accurate, well-organized, and easy to understand for users.
• Work within agile sprints to deliver documentation on time and in accordance with project requirements.
• Utilize technical writing tools such as GitBook and/or Markdown
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to seek clarification or additional information.
• Conduct documentation audits to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical writing for complex B2B SaaS products
• Strong understanding of data quality concepts and technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in using GitBook and/or Markdown
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• A passion for creating clear, concise, and informative technical documentation
• We are eager to begin this project as soon as possible and anticipate the contract to run through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.
