You will create and sustain a professional practice environment that aligns with organizational mission, values, and service standards while driving: Exceptional patient outcomes Coworker engagement and retention Quality and safety initiatives Operational excellence Financial stewardship Physician and interdisciplinary collaboration You will serve as a key leader within Women's Services, working across departments to ensure seamless, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Direction Develop and execute departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy Participate in nursing strategic planning initiatives Foster a culture of shared governance, accountability, and engagement Lead departmental participation in councils, committees, and process improvement activities Clinical Operations Maintain 24/7 accountability for patient care and departmental operations Develop staffing plans that effectively balance patient needs and resources Ensure safe, efficient patient flow and placement Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to remove barriers to care Promote compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Quality & Patient Experience Drive performance improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes Champion patient safety and evidence-based practice Utilize data and quality metrics to improve care delivery Ensure an exceptional experience for patients and families Lead the implementation of organizational quality and safety goals Team Development & Human Resources Recruit, hire, and retain top nursing talent Foster an engaged and supportive work environment Oversee competency validation and professional development Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management Promote continuing education and career growth opportunities Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Current RN license (or eligible RN licensure in state of practice) Nursing certification required Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience Demonstrated success leading teams, managing operations, and improving outcomes Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making Preferred Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field Maternal-Newborn, Women's Health, Postpartum, or Neonatal leadership experience Experience leading in a high-volume acute care environment The Ideal Candidate We're seeking an experienced and collaborative leader who: Has deep expertise in Maternal-Newborn care Inspires and develops high-performing teams Leads with compassion, accountability, and integrity Embraces innovation and continuous improvement Builds strong partnerships across Women's Services and the interdisciplinary care team Join a Team That Delivers Excellence If you're ready to lead one of the country's premier Postpartum programs and make a meaningful difference for mothers, babies, and caregivers every day, we'd love to connect with you.
