Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst III to provide extramural management and analysis support for the Office of the Director (OD).


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Grants, Contracts & Agreements Management: Coordinate the full lifecycle of pre- and post-award documentation for contracts, IAAs, and cooperative agreements, including funding memos, SOWs, acquisition plans, clearance documents, cost estimates, and requisitions.
  • Budget Tracking & Financial Analysis: Track and manage DHQP funding, ensuring accurate allocation of funding mechanisms; perform strategic planning and financial analysis.
  • Program Operations & Compliance Monitoring: Monitor day-to-day operations for policy/procedure adherence and effective service delivery.
  • Systems & Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties requiring oversight and analysis; work across CDC systems including ICE, G-Invoicing, GMM, RMS, UTAM, and CONCUR.
  • Strategic Planning & Resource Allocation: Work with Public Health Advisors on resource planning and project budget preparation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Confer with and represent the program and division across CDC offices, grantees, and external partners.
  • Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and work professionally and collegially with a highly educated, scientific customer base that is under pressure and in the public eye every day.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently, be solution-oriented, motivated, and committed to customer and company success.
  • Ability to handle a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment while balancing multiple competing priorities.
  • Expertise in project management tools and software, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $122,000.00 annually.
