| Essential Job Duties |
The department delivers core career development services, coaching, and educational programming to undergraduate and graduate students across all academic disciplines. Serving as a versatile member of the department, this position supports university-wide student populations through individual appointments, drop-in advising, customized workshops, and general center operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide individual and group career coaching to students across all disciplines regarding career exploration, resume and cover letter construction, interview preparation, and job or internship search strategies.
- Conduct regular drop-in advising sessions to manage daily service demands and ensure baseline center coverage.
- Guide students across all majors on navigating and utilizing the university's recruiting platform and job database (ePACK).
- Facilitate interactive workshops and presentations on topical career readiness subjects, such as networking and interviewing, for general student audiences, classes, and student organizations.
- Represent the department at campus-wide outreach initiatives, student orientations, open houses, and resource fairs.
- Support daily operational, administrative, and customer service functions within the department.
- Maintain technical proficiency in career technology systems and complete other duties as assigned.

- Experience delivering career coaching, advising, or student support services, preferably in a college or university setting.
- Experience designing and facilitating training programs, workshops, or learning initiatives focus on early-career professionals or students.
