WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Data Engineer position is responsible for defining, developing and maintaining the modernization of TruStone Financial Credit Union's data architecture, ETL processes, and data solutions. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm at our Burnsville Administrative Office location; exempt. In addition:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Three or more years of experience in a Data Engineering role that includes all of the following:
- Data analysis, data profiling, and data engineering.
- Design or development of enterprise data solutions, applications, and integrations.
- Developing ELT and ETL solutions on premise and in the Cloud.
- Developing with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Working with Data warehousing methodologies and data/dimensional modelling concepts.
- Working with Master Data Management systems.
- Working with and building Relational Database Management Systems.
- Working with structured and unstructured data.
- Two or more years of experience in building and supporting Cloud data warehouse/data lake architecture on Azure/AWS.
- Preferred experience in the following would be helpful:
- With programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell.
- With data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- With ITIL4 foundations or higher certification.
- With agile, lean, scrum, DEVOPS, DATAOPS, and scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodologies.
- In designing and developing document databases such as MongoDB.
- In designing and developing Graph databases.
- Building and supporting a microservice architecture.
- Ability to reason through logic problems and apply creative thinking.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data very quickly.
- Strong verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintains awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follows internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
- Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

WHAT WE OFFER: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. In addition, we offer:
