Overview Microsoft's Windows Device Sales (WDS) organization partners with the world's largest device and technology companies to bring Microsoft software and services to market through compelling hardware solutions globally. WDS plays a critical role in driving Microsoft's revenue, profitability, and platform growth by shaping thedeviceecosystem across OEMs, channels, distributors, resellers, and silicon partners. As part of the WDS Pricing, Deals & Investments organization, the Programs, Licensing & Policy team owns the design, governance, compliance, and execution of Microsoft's Windows partner investment and licensing programs. The team works across Sales, Marketing, Category, Operations, Legal, Compliance,andEngineering to create scalable frameworks that enable growth while protecting Microsoft through strong governance and operational discipline. We are expanding our Commercial initiatives andestablishinga new Senior Program Manager role focused on building theprogrammatic structurethat enables Microsoft's Enterprise growth motions at scale. As Senior Program Manager, Enterprise ProgramManagement& Commercial Offers, you willbe responsible fordesigning, launching, governing, and continuously improving the commercial programs& deals, operating models, and compliance frameworks that support Microsoft's commercial device strategy worldwide. This role plays a foundational role in building scalable, repeatable, and policy-aligned mechanisms that enable enterprisedealexecution. Importantly, this role isnot responsible for prioritizing, negotiating,approving, or managing individual enterprise opportunities. Instead, this roleis responsible fordesigning andoperatingtheprogramgovernance, compliance, licensing, and operational frameworks that enable enterprise deal execution globally. Responsibilities Role Scope & Impact Own Windows Enterprise Deals and Enterprise device offer programs end-to-end across design, implementation, launch, execution, monitoring, and optimization Design and evolve program requirements, partner eligibility criteria, business rules, compliance controls, and operating processes aligned to WDS strategy Design Enterprise deals, including deals processes, deal requirements, deal governance, legal and compliance alignment, audit requirements, and exception management Create scalable program guides, disclosures, operational tools, and execution models that enable consistent global executive Build repeatable processes and programmatic mechanisms that improve efficiency, accountability, and execution quality across commercial programs Key Responsibilities Partner across Senior Leadership, Category, Sales, Marketing, Legal/CELA, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations to design, implement, and govern commercial programs and Enterprise deal frameworks Lead annual and multi-year program strategy, planning, design, implementation, and optimization to support WDS Commercial objectives Develop and maintain programmatic structures supporting: Enterprise deal execution frameworks Policy and compliance management Establish and manage program operating rhythms, stakeholder reviews, partner communications, and execution oversight Own partner-facing documentation, disclosures, program requirements, onboarding materials, and execution guidance Lead program audits, control reviews, remediations, compliance monitoring, and exception management activities Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to establish scalable funding, licensing, rebate, and audit mechanisms that support commercial execution while protecting Microsoft Develop performance measurement frameworks, compliance scorecards, operational KPIs, and reporting models Identify process improvements and automation opportunities that increase scalability and operational efficiency Communicate program strategy, compliance health, operational performance, and key insights to senior leadership Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in Program Management, Sales Operations, Business Development, Operations, Compliance, or a related field Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience. Experience designing and operating large-scale global programs from strategy through implementation and execution Strong understanding of governance frameworks, compliance controls, audit disciplines, and operational excellence Experience building scalable business processes, program infrastructure, and operating models Familiarity with partner ecosystems, commercial programs, funding mechanisms, and incentive frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process rigor Experience operating in complex, highly matrixed environments with competing stakeholder priorities Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment without direct authority Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
