Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment.



Hours are a 12-hour compressed schedule. Flexibility of shift A, B, C or D. Work 3 days one week, 4 days the next. Shift differential for the night shifts.

Major Areas of Accountability:



  • Perform routine maintenance activities on Automation (AMHS) equipment (Daifuku), Kensington and Brooks wafer sorters, Alvarda turnstiles, H-Square wafer notch aligners, Mactronix automatic wafer transfer devices, hoists, OHTs, and other transfer equipment.
  • Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic equipment health checks.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues to support fab uptime.
  • Assist with spare part replacement, adjustments, and minor calibrations as instructed.
  • Work closely with engineers to escalate complex incidents and support root-cause investigations.
  • Attend training programs to broaden technical and equipment-specific skillsets.
  • Follow established safety, compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to increase equipment reliability and stability.
  • Work with the shift leadership team and other maintenance technicians to drive the team's overall success


Required Qualifications:




  • Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.), or technical trade school certificate preferred but not required.



  • Work experience will be considered.8-10 years of experience in an Equipment Maintenance role within the Semiconductor industry


  • Photo Tools experience preferred
  • Extensive troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems skills

    • Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, and 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills


  • Experience with equipment performance checks and documentation
  • Ability to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures



Physical Demands:



  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and climb a ladder.
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of 12 hours a day, 4 days a week. Variety of standing, sitting, kneeling & data entry.
  • Wear complete fab attire for full shift.
  • Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment and work with electrical hazards
