Job Purpose: This role leads the planning, delivery, and ongoing support of customer-facing digital technology solutions that help the company meet its business goals. The IT Director partners with business and resource teams to understand needs, set priorities, and ensure critical applications, systems, and infrastructure are reliable, secure, and aligned with company objectives. This includes oversight of IT applications, system implementations, project tracking, vendor relationships, information systems, servers, and related operational processes. Essential Functions:
- Set technology direction: Translate business needs and company priorities into a clear digital technology vision, roadmap, and set of goals.
- Partner across the business: Build strong working relationships with business and resource teams to ensure digital technology efforts improve customer experience, support revenue goals, and enable efficient operations.
- Lead system delivery: Direct the implementation of new digital capabilities and enhancements to existing applications so the company can respond effectively to changing customer and business needs.
- Ensure reliable operations: Oversee systems, applications, servers, and related technology services to maintain high reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
- Manage and develop people: Coach, delegate, build strong teams, support change, and remove barriers so employees can perform at their best.
- Manage vendors effectively: Oversee technology vendor and platform partner relationships, performance, and deliverables to ensure the company receives strong value and quality service.
- Oversee programs and budgets: Manage capital, expense, and headcount planning for the IT organization and support effective tracking of project and operational commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement: Use IT metrics, customer experience indicators, and operational performance measures to identify opportunities to improve digital processes, service delivery, and business outcomes.
Education:
- Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Relevant Work Experience:
- Over 10 years in related field
