As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining professional interactions with the public.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
