KI has an opening for an Accounting Specialist at its Corporate office in Green Bay, WI. This role supports various responsibilities within Tax team and Finance department at KI. The role primarily focuses on auditing and approving expense reimbursement requests, supporting business licensing activities, completing required filings, and assisting with compliance-related tasks.



Responsibilities



  • Audit and process for payment employee expense reimbursement requests.
  • Ensure compliance with KI Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Policy by auditing expense receipts and payment requests against corporate policy.
  • Maintenance of employee corporate credit cards including new issuance, cancellation, credit limit adjustments and payment reconciliations.
  • Support the Director of Tax in maintaining appropriate business licensing, reviewing and submitting various filings and additional tasks related to state tax compliance.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding KI's T&E policy and web-based reimbursement system.
  • Assist KI's Finance Dept with other functions (AP, tax, treasury, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing recommendations for process and procedural changes.
  • Perform ad-hoc activities, as requested by management.



Qualifications



  • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1+ years in a similar position.
  • General working knowledge of accounting transactions.
  • General understanding of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and ERP system (BPCS).
