TRIP PROGRAM INTERN

Summary:
The Marketing Intern will support the Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) team by assisting with customer relations, data analysis, and marketing activities related to firm transportation services. This role provides hands-on exposure to the commercial side of the pipeline business, including contracts, rates, revenue tracking, and market analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team in maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, including utilities, producers, and marketing companies.
  • Assist in researching and analyzing transportation deals, market trends, and competitor pipeline activity.
  • Help prepare reports on revenue, throughput, and market performance to support business decisions.
  • Participate in reviewing customer requests and learn how FERC tariffs and company policies apply to transportation services.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for active customer contracts and potential market expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with commercial and supply teams to identify opportunities for improved utilization of company services.
  • Gain exposure to how complex commercial agreements are structured and executed within the pipeline industry.

Required Education, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and computer related skills (MS Word, Excel & Power Point)

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements include:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027
  • General requirements include self-motivated individuals with a desire to learn and contribute to the energy sector
  • The selections of disciplines include Engineering & Finance
  • Above average GPA 3.0
