Lead Quality Assurance Lab Technician (2nd Shift) - Quincy, IL

• 
  
  
  Conducting physical, analytical, and microbiological testing on products and raw materials

• Using laboratory equipment and testing instruments to perform quality checks

• Retaining and documenting product samples from production runs

• Testing finished syrups and beverages to ensure flavor and quality standards are met

• Investigating consumer complaints through product testing and communicating findings

• Maintaining accurate testing records, reports, and documentation

• Supporting food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety programs

• Performing package integrity and seam testing

• Entering and maintaining data within computer systems

• Conducting water quality and reverse osmosis (RO) testing

• Submitting product samples to parent companies as required

• Communicating any quality or equipment concerns to supervisors

• Calibrating laboratory equipment and ensuring testing accuracy

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate laboratory and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Preferred, but not required:

• Knowledge of soft drink production processes
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Previous laboratory or quality assurance experience
