Overview
Help Build the Future of Unified Communications at Shure! As an Engineer II, System Verification specializing in Unified Communications, you will support system verification activities for integrated audio and video products. Working as part of the verification team, you will execute test plans, identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure our communication products meet quality and performance expectations. Your technical contributions will support product quality initiatives and help improve the reliability and performance of Unified Communications solutions. Responsibilities
Support Quality in Unified Communications: Execute system verification test cases and document results for UC products.
- Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, interoperability, audio, video, camera, and networking validation.
- Defect Identification: Reproduce, isolate, and clearly document issues found during verification.
- Collaboration: Work with senior engineers, developers, product managers, and support teams to resolve defects.
- Test Planning Support: Contribute to test case creation and test plan updates under guidance.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in debugging system-level issues across hardware, software, UC platforms, and networking environments.
- Process Discipline: Follow established verification processes, defect tracking practices, and agile workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality engineering, system testing, software/hardware validation, or a related technical field.
- Working knowledge of Unified Communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
- Experience executing test plans, documenting defects, and troubleshooting system-level issues.
- Working knowledge of end-to-end networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, QoS, and basic troubleshooting in integrated audio/video or Unified Communications environments.
- Familiarity with audio, video, camera, and UC hardware/software interoperability testing.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues clearly.
- Experience with agile methodologies and defect tracking tools preferred.
- Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Unified Communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. Your understanding of these platforms will help support testing strategies and processes for UC environments. Your technical skills will help support the development and validation of high-quality communication solutions.

PAY TRANSPARENCY Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $82,300 to $131,700. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
