What You Will Do

• Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support for production-related matters, including indemnity agreements, production services agreements, licenses, talent agreements, and other essential production contracts.
• Draft and meticulously maintain production contracts, licensing agreements, and all associated legal documentation.
• Organize and manage electronic file systems and production records, with a focus on talent files and rights documentation, while also facilitating the transition of physical records to electronic formats.
• Assist in the diligent management and tracking of production agreements across multiple ongoing productions.
• Take responsibility for the accurate and timely execution of legal documents.
• Draft concise summaries and coordinate vital information for all production legal matters.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive talent and production information.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated paralegal experience in entertainment law, production law, or contract administration.
• Profound understanding of entertainment and media law principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively manage multiple production matters concurrently.
• Exceptional organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with document management systems, including NetDocuments and Docusign, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive talent and production information.
• Track record of meeting tight production timelines and deadlines.
• Extensive experience with talent agreements, releases, and rights documentation.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or qualifications to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as set forth by the American Bar Association and any applicable state codes.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience within television, film, or streaming production environments.
• Familiarity with Excel and AI tools.
