Position Summary MARKETING STATEMENT The Defense Systems Division is part of the Parker Aerospace Group, located in Irvine, California. Our products are used across military and commercial platforms globally. With minimum supervision, and reporting to the general manager or above, responsible for administrative and/or project-oriented duties of considerable scope, sensitivity, and complexity requiring extreme ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Efficiently operates personal computer and other office automated equipment to perform the full scope of word processing, graphics, and/or publishing applications, as well as creating documents containing financial or statistical data or scientific, technical, or legal terminology. 10. Closely monitor calendar and make appointments as required. Make complex domestic and international travel arrangements. 15. Manage office supplies inventory by ordering and stocking supplies as needed. MUST BE A US CITIZEN JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through four or more years of related experience as an executive administrative assistant. College education preferred. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and written (composition) skills. Ability to use standard business applications with strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes. Ability to work independently with only general direction and instruction regarding the scope of assignments. Handles multiple tasks, with changing priorities and has exceptional initiative, paying close attention to detail and follow-up as required. Open to assuming greater responsibilities as needed. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
Requires working knowledge of military/aerospace industry standards. Experience preparing Status Reports, proposals desired, as well as contract management and export administration experience. Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation
