What to Expect

Consider before submitting an application:

This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

We are seeking a motivated Winter Intern to support our Service Programs Team in Customer Experience. The intern will play a key role in projects that improve the service visit experience-analyzing CSAT and operational data, identifying customer pain points, and translating insights into programs the field can execute. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate bridges software development thinking and business acumen to drive scalable solutions.

  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with software/product teams to evaluate or design tools that support advisor workflow and customer communication
  • Quantify tradeoffs between operational efficiency and customer experience (wait time, appointment reliability, communication, and CSAT)

What You'll Bring
  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or related field
  • Prior experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to operational goals, paired with a foundational understanding of software development structures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to connect operational tradeoffs to customer outcomes, including wait time, communication, and CSAT
