MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Standish is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate/Assistant to join a growing team. The NP/PA will be responsible for providing Primary Care services for established patients of MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Standish. Responsibilities would include including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. This is a team care approach that will be working closely with physicians and other clinicians to provide patients a medical home - a place to go for help with any health issues.

Schedule:

  • 3-day Work Week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • MH Primary Care - Family Medicine - Standish

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate/Assistant program.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine as Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate. Current certification as NP/PA required.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required.
  • Knowledge of advanced practice of nursing, professional nursing theory, practices and regulations related to evaluating and providing patient care, and professional ethics related to the delivery of nursing care.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, including state of wellness and compliance with care recommendations.
  • Skill in case management, time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, multitasking and other organizational matters.
  • Ability to make responsible decisions within scope of NP/PA Practice.
  • Ability to educate patients, families, and staff in user-friendly manner.
  • Strong computer skills with skill in using computerized health information management system.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, clinical staff and the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

This position offers:

  • At MaineHealth, we recognize the value each team member brings to our organization. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives and other premiums.
  • The pay range for this position at a .75 FTE is $85,425 to $110,550 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
