We are seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer II to join the Special Test Equipment (STE) Team supporting advanced Space Systems programs. In this role, you'll contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of sophisticated electrical test systems used to support spacecraft development, verification, and mission-critical technologies.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, integrate, and support Special Test Equipment (STE) for advanced space and defense programs.
  • Create electrical designs, schematics, and supporting documentation for test systems and hardware interfaces.
  • Perform mixed-signal circuit analysis, troubleshooting, validation, and verification activities.
  • Support component selection, system integration, and hardware qualification efforts.
  • Conduct electrical testing, performance analysis, and root-cause investigations.
  • Read and interpret circuit card schematics and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, hardware, manufacturing, and test engineering.
  • Support prototype builds, laboratory testing, and engineering development activities.
  • Participate in research and development efforts focused on emerging technologies and innovative test solutions.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, electronics development, test engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 3+ years of experience using electrical CAD tools and circuit design software.
  • 3+ years of experience performing mixed-signal circuit analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and engineering documentation.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience supporting hardware integration, system testing, and electrical verification activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing and supporting Special Test Equipment (STE) or Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving electronic assemblies, circuit cards, and test systems.
  • Research & Development experience involving concept development, modeling, prototyping, and testing.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and applying innovative engineering solutions.
  • Strong understanding of electronics architecture, component selection, and hardware development processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and technical leadership.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology innovation.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Overtime: May be required based on project schedules and milestones.
  • Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site or Flex/Hybrid options available depending on program requirements.
  • Work Environment: Advanced aerospace, defense, and space systems engineering environment supporting Special Test Equipment development and spacecraft programs.
