A Day In The Life
The Risk Analyst, under the leadership of the VP, Insurance & Claims, will manage a high volume and variety of responsibilities while supporting the Risk Management team's focus on strategy, risk identification, risk transfer, and risk mitigation. The Risk Analyst will provide day-to-day oversight and coordination of casualty claims, including auto liability, general liability, and workers' compensation claims, and will work closely with third-party administrators (TPAs), insurance carriers, internal business units, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claim resolution. The role will monitor claim activity, reserves, litigation status, and outcomes; assist with claim reviews and escalation of significant or complex matters; and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to identify trends and measure claims performance. This position will also maintain and support established risk management and claims processes and, as needed, assist with the development and implementation of process improvements.

As a Analyst, Risk you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day oversight and coordination of casualty claims, including auto liability, general liability, and workers' compensation claims, and will work closely with third-party administrators (TPAs), insurance carriers, internal business units, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claim resolution.
  • Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate Document & Data Management for the department.
  • Manage relationships with third party claims administrators (TPAs) and subrogation agents.
  • Coordinate wage statements and other requests for information.
  • Coordinate OSHA reporting.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular reporting, and perform ad-hoc reporting when needed.
  • Analysis of claims data, providing business insight.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) and training resource for loss reporting and claims administration.
  • Collect specified exposure data and other information in support of underwriting submissions.
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests and distribution of Auto ID cards.
  • Review, allocate, code, and submit invoices tor payment.
  • Perform studies, prepare special reports, and handle special projects as assigned.
  • Process improvement, problem-solving, and waste elimination.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Req
  • 3-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Understanding of technical and business requirements
  • Knowledge of F&I products
  • Able to work independently and on a team
  • Business Insight: Understands how new events will affect individuals and business processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to lead formal and informal meetings, guiding them in making operational decisions impacting the company
  • Strong communication and documentation

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
10% The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business.
