Revenue Manager Position Summary The Revenue Manager serves as primary support to the Director of Revenue Management, assisting with the development and execution of the resort's revenue strategy. This position oversees group reservations, inventory controls, rate and package management, and departmental operations while partnering with Sales, Front Office, Accounting, and other operational teams to maintain reservation accuracy, support business needs, and maximize revenue opportunities. Essential Responsibilities Revenue Strategy, Analysis, and Reporting Support the development and execution of revenue management strategies. Prepare and analyze forecasts, reports, presentations, and other performance-related materials. Monitor booking activity, inventory, pricing, and business trends to identify opportunities and potential concerns. Participate in revenue, operations, and financial meetings. Assist with annual planning, system updates, contract implementation, and other revenue-related projects. Group Reservations and Inventory Management Oversee group reservations, room blocks, inventory controls, assignments, and cutoff dates. Review newly created group blocks and reservation activity for accuracy. Monitor group performance and follow up on reservation discrepancies, no-shows, and other concerns. Maintain group assignments and communicate updates to appropriate team members. Support Sales with pre-planning visits, familiarization trips, special events, and other reservation needs. Leisure and Special Reservations Support wholesale, promotional, luxury, and special-package reservations. Monitor reservation communications and respond to inquiries or requested updates. Coordinate additional amenities or experiences associated with reservation packages. Review reservation routing and account setup to ensure accuracy. Assist with annual updates related to contracted and wholesale business. Rate, Package, and System Management Build and maintain rate codes, packages, group blocks, and contracted accounts. Review rate and package configurations to ensure accurate setup and functionality. Audit reservation routing, transaction codes, and other system configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve rate, package, inventory, and reservation issues. Coordinate annual extensions and updates to rate plans and account configurations. Team Leadership and Development Act on behalf of the Director of Revenue Management as needed, providing departmental leadership and supporting the continuity of daily operations. Provide daily guidance and operational support to Group Reservations Coordinators. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching, and performance follow-up. Oversee team assignments and departmental administrative responsibilities. Review and approve employee timekeeping records. Coordinate onboarding, system access, training schedules, and continued development for new team members. Facilitate team meetings and training initiatives. Cross-Functional and Operational Support Partner with Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Front Office, Accounting, Marketing, and resort operations. Assist operational teams with reservation, rate, package, inventory, and group-block concerns. Identify discrepancies and coordinate timely corrections with the appropriate departments. Serve as a resource for reservation processes, system functionality, and revenue-related procedures. Support special projects and additional departmental initiatives as needed.
