This newly established facility offers a unique opportunity for an experienced perioperative leader to help create the foundation for long-term success. The Director of Clinical Operations will play a critical role in shaping the clinical and operational framework of the center, including the development of policies, procedures, quality programs, safety initiatives, and compliance processes. This leader will help establish the culture, standards, and systems that will guide the center's future growth and performance.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and entrepreneurial healthcare leader with experience in a high-volume, fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment. They possess strong operational and financial acumen, an ability to interpret and leverage financial reporting to drive performance, and a commitment to balancing efficiency with exceptional patient outcomes. Quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement are at the core of their leadership approach.

Working closely with physicians, the center administrator, center governance and internal clinical teams, the Director will oversee all aspects of clinical operations, including staff leadership and development, quality assurance and performance improvement, infection prevention, risk management, patient safety, regulatory readiness, supply chain oversight, and budget management. This leader will have the opportunity to influence strategy, optimize workflows, and build a best-in-class ambulatory surgery program from the ground up.

Summary:

• The Director - Clinical Operations is responsible for the effective oversight of clinical operations within the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), including the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, supervision of clinical staff, compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and facility requirements, and coordination of quality assurance/performance improvement, infection prevention, risk management, and safety activities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1.Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

2.Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.

3.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related perioperative or ambulatory surgery center experience, including relevant leadership experience required

4. Additional Preferred Skills or Education: Association for Professionals in Infection Prevention and Epidemiology (APIC Certification), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), Orthopedic experience, experience with QAPI, Regulatory and AAAHC.

The pay range for this position is $166,545.60to $225,347.20per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
