Job Summary

Pediatric Neurology | Hybrid Schedule | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Are you a highly organized, patient-focused administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Join the Pediatric Neurology team within Mass General Brigham's Department of Neurology and newly formed Neuroscience Institute, where compassionate care and groundbreaking science come together to improve the lives of children and families.

In this front desk, patient-facing role, you'll serve as a key member of a collaborative care team, supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, and patients throughout their care journey.

What You'll Do:

- Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out activities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional service and support.
- Manage administrative workflows including document scanning, billing-related processes, and medical record updates.
- Act as a scheduling, registration, and billing systems expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Assist with complex scheduling needs, including provider schedule management and specialty appointments.
- Support daily practice operations and help ensure an efficient, welcoming clinical environment.
- Handle inquiries related to prior authorizations, prescription refills, test results, and provider communications.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of office or administrative experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Experience providing outstanding customer service in a busy environment
