Vice President of Growth

The Vice President of Growth is responsible for leading the national team of Directors of Market Development (DMDs) and driving the organization's growth objectives through the development, performance, and effectiveness of that team. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this leader is accountable for the hiring, onboarding, coaching, skill development, and performance management of the DMD organization while building and strengthening relationships with physician partners, health systems, medical groups, and other referral sources.

• Lead, develop, and manage a national team of Directors of Market Development.
• Establish performance expectations, growth objectives, and key performance indicators for the DMD team.
• Design and implement structured development programs focused on territory planning, referral-source targeting, consultative selling, and objection handling.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback through field engagement, ride-alongs, and individual development planning.
• Build and strengthen relationships with physician partners, health systems, medical groups, and other referral sources.
• Partner with organizational leaders to support annual growth objectives.
• Monitor pipeline activity, evaluate market opportunities, and use competitive intelligence to prioritize growth initiatives.
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development efforts for the DMD team.
• Lead projects and initiatives as business needs and organizational priorities evolve.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in healthcare business development, sales, market development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading and developing field-based teams.
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining referral networks with physicians, health systems, and other referral sources.
• Experience hiring, coaching, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and build collaborative partnerships across an organization.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel as needed.
