Job Title: AutoCAD Telecom Drafter / Closeout Specialist Location: Remote (East Coast/Central Coast Hours) Duration: 12 Months Position Summary We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Telecom Drafter / Closeout Specialist to support U.S.-based engineering and construction teams. This role is responsible for producing accurate AutoCAD drawings and complete telecommunications closeout packages (COP) in accordance with defined engineering standards, QA/QC requirements, and delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain standards-compliant AutoCAD drawings, including redline incorporation and final as-built production Review, correct, and assemble telecom closeout packages (COP) Apply telecom CAD standards including layers, blocks, linetypes, title blocks, and coordinate systems Validate drawing accuracy, completeness, and archival readiness Coordinate with U.S.-based engineers and construction teams to resolve issues Follow QA/QC procedures and photo-based verification checklists Deliver files in DWG and PDF formats using required folder and naming standards Update existing as-builts based on field or scope changes Communicate professionally in English during U.S. business hours Familiar with AutoCAD LISP routines, Net Plugins, custom menus and publishing/plotting Required Qualifications Fluent English (written and verbal) Advanced AutoCAD Map experience (2014 or newer) Telecommunications drafting experience (OSP/ISP fiber, conduit, handholes, manholes) Experience converting field redlines to accurate as-builts Knowledge of telecom closeout package (COP) requirements Strong attention to detail and deadline management
