Associate Manager, Entertainment & Talent Partnerships

We're looking for a creative, culturally curious, and commercially minded partnership builder to help shape how General Mills brands show up in entertainment and culture.

As Associate Manager, Entertainment & Talent Partnerships, you'll develop and execute partnerships across film, television, streaming, celebrity, talent, creators, music, fashion, and other entertainment platforms. You'll identify the right people, properties, and cultural moments for our brands, then turn those opportunities into partnerships that strengthen consumer connection and brand growth.

You'll support a broad North American portfolio, including cereal, snacks, and meals and baking brands. Some opportunities will start with a brand-team brief; others will come from your external relationships and knowledge of what is coming next. You'll work across brand, creative, media, PR, social, legal, licensing, and agency teams, while building relationships with studios, networks, streamers, production companies, talent representatives, creators, and other partners.

• Identify and develop partnership opportunities across film, television, streaming, celebrity, talent, creators, music, fashion, and emerging cultural platforms.
• Track entertainment trends, upcoming releases, cultural moments, talent activity, music festivals, and partner pipelines to bring timely ideas to brand teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with talent agencies, management companies, studios, networks, streamers, production companies, creators, event partners, and other entertainment organizations.
• Participate in brand briefs and team brainstorms, bringing a creative point of view and translating business objectives into relevant partnership ideas.
• Develop pitches and integrated plans that define the strategy, roles, timelines, budgets, deliverables, approvals, and measures of success.
• Lead negotiations with talent, studios, agencies, production companies, event partners, and other external partners.
• Serve as the central point of contact between brand teams, creative agencies, talent, representatives, and external partners from development through activation.
• Guide teams on talent and entertainment norms, including schedules, usage, deliverables, approvals, expectations, and scope changes.
• Coordinate creative development, production, talent needs, partner communications, and final deliverables to ensure smooth execution.
• Anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities, influence without authority, and keep complex partnerships moving forward.
• Ensure each partnership delivers against agreed brand, consumer, and business objectives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing partnerships, entertainment, talent, media, advertising, agency, or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing partnerships or integrated marketing programs from concept through execution.
• Experience managing external partners and multiple stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
• Experience negotiating or managing talent, entertainment, licensing, sponsorship, promotional, or co-marketing agreements.
• Strong creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn business objectives into compelling partnership ideas.
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Experience building integrated partnerships across content, social, PR, media, experiential, music, fashion, or other consumer touchpoints.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and emerging cultural trends.

• Direct experience with talent agencies, management companies, studios, networks, streamers, production companies, creators, celebrities, or entertainment properties.
• Experience with branded entertainment, including product placement, product integration, branded content, custom content, or promotional partnerships.
• Established relationships within the entertainment and talent ecosystem; experience with CAA, UTA, WME, major film studios, or comparable partners is a plus.
• Experience working with consumer packaged goods brands or in a large, complex organization.
• Understanding of entertainment rights, talent usage, licensing, and intellectual property.
• Strong creative judgment and the ability to remain level-headed, personable, and direct while managing competing needs.

• International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

The salary range for this position is:

The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
