CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

• Performs repair and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include, but notbe limitedto: Sizers,stuffers,vacuumpumps, vacuum packaging machinery, conveyors, slicers, injectors,microwavesand hydraulic units.

• Replacement of belts, sprockets, gears,chainsand valves.

• Rebuild of valves,pumpsand gearboxes.

• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic machine problems and make necessary repairs.

• Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, boltreplacementand breakdowns due to mechanical wear.

• Welding ofmachine components.

• Preventative Maintenance tasks, such as lubricating of parts, drives, chains, etc.

• Installationsto includehooking up air, water, gas and alignment andleveling ofequipment.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamicenvironment.

• Ability to work independently.

• Must have good mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to read,writeand speak English.

• Hand tools, test meters, controls, etc.

• The majority ofthe time is spent intheplant environmentandwill include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

• Noise levelisloud in the productionareaand hearing protection is alwaysrequired.

• Must be able tolift upto60lbs.
