Essential Job Duties you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Direct training and supervision of Production Assistants/Drivers and beneficiaries assigned to the transportation department. Responsible for training and supervision of beneficiaries who are assigned as truck's helpers.
• Assure that store deliveries are made with maximum efficiency.
• Ensures the security of donations.
• Train and supervise Dispatcher.
• Establish and ensure follow through on preventative maintenance schedule for all ARC vehicles.
• Assure all repairs are reported to and approved by the Operations Manager and completed in a timely fashion.
• View SmartDrive reports each morning, giving proper coaching/disciplinary action as necessary.
• Follow P.A. to assure compliance with ARC policies.
• Document and call in to insurance carrier all accidents and submit to Human Resources
• Assure all Departments adhere to Review standards.
• Assures safety measures established and maintained by ARC policy and government regulations.

Qualifications to be considered for this position:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience involving supervision and production scheduling.
• Familiarity with the use and maintenance of vehicles
• Valid Arizona Driver License
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Must pass The Salvation Army driver and safety training series.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to move product up to 50lbs.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
