How you'll make an impact:

The Specialist, Hardware Operations plays a key role in supporting customer onboarding and operational fulfillment for CloudCover hardware solutions. This role owns the day-to-day provisioning, quality control, inventory tracking, and fulfillment of CloudBox devices while helping optimize operational workflows as the business scales.

What you'll do:

Hardware Fulfillment & Operations

  • Own the day-to-day fulfillment lifecycle for CloudBox hardware orders, including provisioning, quality assurance, packaging, shipment coordination, and order validation
  • Generate UPS shipping labels, tracking information, and shipment documentation to support accurate and timely customer deliveries
  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments and help troubleshoot shipping, delivery, or return issues as needed
  • Prioritize and manage fulfillment queues to support customer onboarding timelines and operational needs
  • Configure, test, and link CloudBox devices within internal systems to ensure accurate deployment and functionality
  • Verify accuracy across customer orders, shipment details, tracking information, and hardware assignments
  • Support high-volume fulfillment operations while maintaining accuracy and delivery timelines

Inventory Management & Operational Support

  • Maintain inventory accuracy across hardware, accessories, replacement devices, and operational supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting efforts to help ensure hardware availability as onboarding volume scales
  • Process returned hardware, evaluate devices for reuse, and manage RMA/return workflows
  • Maintain operational documentation, inventory records, SOPs, and fulfillment procedures related to CloudBox operations
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements to increase efficiency and scalability

Manufacturing & Hardware QA Support

  • Perform repeatable QA testing on CloudBox devices, cables, ports, and related hardware
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing partners to support hardware testing, firmware validation, deployment readiness, and new hardware builds
  • Assist with managing test hardware, troubleshooting device-related issues, and supporting ongoing hardware quality assurance efforts
  • Assist with testing and operational support for future hardware initiatives and device rollouts as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with Billing, Sales, Support, Operations, and other internal teams to execute customer orders and special fulfillment requests
  • Communicate proactively regarding order timelines, operational issues, onboarding requirements, and special shipping instructions
  • Support cross-functional onboarding logistics for new customer deployments and large-scale hardware rollouts

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Generate and maintain operational reports related to shipment volume, hardware usage, onboarding activity, non-recurring revenue, and other fulfillment metrics
  • Support ongoing process optimization and scalability initiatives as the hardware operations function continues to grow
  • Assist with documenting and refining scalable workflows, SOPs, and operational best practices

What you'll need:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware operations, logistics, fulfillment, inventory management, shipping coordination, or a related operational role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to support high-volume operations while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience using UPS or similar shipping platforms for label generation, tracking management, and shipment troubleshooting
  • Experience working with inventory management systems, spreadsheets, and operational reporting tools
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Docs
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to identify operational issues, improve workflows, and support scalable processes
  • Comfortable working hands-on with hardware devices, QA testing procedures, and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience with onboarding logistics, CRM/order management systems, hardware QA, or firmware testing is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite from the Los Angeles office on a regular basis
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $57,900 - $74,750 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
