Job Summary:
The Advanced Loan Operations Specialist position is a "back of the house" role that is responsible for supporting our customer-facing loan staff. This important position ensures a great customer experience though consistent execution: quick response to requests, accurate loan workflow execution, and preventing errors that may impact loan quality or customer satisfaction. This is a technical position. You will be required to demonstrate the technical, procedural, and regulatory requirements for effective loan processing. You will use the bank's core and loan processing systems to create documentation, board loans, perform loan maintenance, and manage ticklers.

You will be cross trained in both Commercial and Agricultural loans. Your team will support the entire bank, and you will frequently work with bankers and customers in other locations. As such, effective communication and collaboration skills are required. This includes professional phone etiquette, good grammar and writing skills, and the effective use of remote collaboration tools (like screen sharing, video conferencing, and chat) to quickly solve issues and enable a great customer experience. A successful Loan Operations Specialist will: demonstrate precision of communication, appropriately prioritize multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, demonstrate tenacity to solve problems, and consistently demonstrate a positive outlook.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring loans through established workflows
• Preparing, reviewing, and uploading loan documentation
• Maintaining loan information within the banks' core and documentation systems
• Processing loan transactions, payments, payoffs, and verifications
• Ordering and reviewing title work and appraisals
• Researching and resolving loan system errors or discrepancies
• Assist with loan audits
• Maintain working knowledge of system enhancements and regulatory requirements
• Partners closely with lenders, loan operations teammates, and other departments to provide responsive accurate support
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 2 years of previous loan operations experience
• Dependability, ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and over the phone
• Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, plus researching areas for required documentation with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Secondary education or equivalent experience
• 5 years of previous loan operations, loan processing or loan department experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Workplace Environment:

• Requires face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees and departments, and in-person interaction.
• Working at a computer and utilizing a telephone
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs

Pay Range: $26.80 - $30.15/hour

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. The salary range represents anticipated base pay for this role. The actual pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on factors including but not limited to work location, candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
