Serves as the senior contractor lead supporting AFMEDCOM medical CBRN programs. Provides programmatic, technical, and analytical support for Department of the Air Force medical CBRN requirements, readiness, consequence management, homeland response, and expeditionary/deployed medical operations, while serving as the primary contractor focal point for Government coordination, performance management, and reporting.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day-to-day execution and coordination of the AFMEDCOM Medical CBRN support effort.
• Serve as the primary contractor focal point for Government correspondence, meetings, status updates, and performance coordination.
• Research, analyze, document, and recommend solutions to medical CBRN issues affecting DAF organizations, Joint Base Military Treatment Facilities, and Major Commands.
• Coordinate with Department of War organizations, sister services, federal agencies, academia, and mission partners.
• Provide senior-level advice on medical CBRN readiness, consequence management, emergency preparedness, and all-hazards response.
• Oversee required deliverables, including meeting agendas/minutes and monthly status/financial reporting.
• Monitor staffing, quality, schedules, risks, and technical performance; ensure products are accurate and timely.
• Support development and evaluation of medical CBRN strategies, policies, requirements, and operational initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated medical CBRN program, requirements, readiness, or consequence-management experience.
• Department of War experience or comparable senior-level expertise in strategic planning, program development, and evaluation.
• Experience managing multiple technical efforts, priorities, and stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, briefing, technical-writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Project, and internet-based research tools.
• Ability to work effectively with senior Government, military, interagency, and contractor personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health, healthcare administration, life sciences, engineering, business/program management, military studies, or a related field is preferred. A master's degree is desirable. Relevant military or Government experience may be substituted for formal education when it demonstrates equivalent technical and leadership capability.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience supporting CBRN, medical readiness, emergency management, consequence management, defense health, or related Department of Defense programs, including at least 5 years of direct medical CBRN or closely related experience and 3 years leading teams, programs, projects, or major workstreams.
• Highly Desired: Headquarters-level Air Force Medical Service, Joint, combatant command, interagency, or comparable senior staff experience; experience briefing senior leaders and managing complex Government stakeholder coordination.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior Air Force Medical Service, Joint medical readiness, CBRN, emergency-management, or headquarters experience.
• Experience leading Advisory and Assistance Services or comparable professional-services efforts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Primarily on-site during normal duty hours; ad-hoc telework is subject to Government approval.
• Occasional CONUS travel is required; overseas travel may become necessary.
• Annual HIPAA/Privacy Act, Cyber Awareness, OPSEC, and CUI training and a non-disclosure agreement are required.

Salary Range

• $145,000 - $180,000
