Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator supports daily warehouse operations by pulling and staging orders, loading flatbed delivery trucks, receiving materials, and maintaining organized inventory. This hands-on role requires regular forklift operation and physical activity, including standing, bending, twisting, pulling, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, self-motivated, and committed to long-term employment in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move and stage materials.
• Load flatbed delivery trucks for scheduled deliveries.
• Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Read and accurately interpret sales orders and material requirements.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate organization of warehouse inventory.
• Handle materials safely using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Follow established warehouse, shipping, receiving, and safety procedures.
• Support other warehouse functions as needed.

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Sit-down forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to read and understand sales orders.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory, or general warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to learn product information and inventory requirements quickly.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, pull, and perform hands-on work throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work outdoors and safely perform duties in varying weather conditions.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.
• Strong attention to safety and organization.
• Consistent work history preferred, with no more than a 3-month employment gap.

Work Experience

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Sit-down forklift experience required.
• Shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory experience preferred.
